1. Who this policy covers
Orivius is an AI-assisted customer-research service. A signed-in research creator designs a study and shares an interview link. Respondents choose whether to participate and answer by text or voice.
For study content, the creator who sent the interview is the research owner and decides the study's purpose, audience, and optional contact fields. Orivius operates the platform and processes information needed to deliver that study. For Orivius accounts, safety, and service operations, Orivius determines how that information is used.
2. Information we handle
Creator information
- Account identifiers supplied through ChatGPT sign-in, including user ID, email address, and name when available.
- Study briefs, target audiences, questions, settings, interview links, reports, and workspace actions.
- Safety, credit-ledger, operational, and request records needed to operate and protect the service.
Respondent information
- Interview answers, generated follow-up questions, timestamps, completion status, and derived research notes.
- Optional name, email, or phone details only when the study owner requests them. Optional fields can be skipped unless the owner marked them required.
- Voice recordings submitted for transcription. Audio is sent to the transcription provider for that request; Orivius stores the resulting text with the interview rather than keeping an audio library.
Device and session information
Orivius uses security and request metadata to prevent abuse and diagnose failures. Respondent browsers store an opaque interview session token and any answer awaiting retry so an interrupted interview can resume without duplicating a turn.
3. How information is used
- Authenticate creators and provide their research workspace.
- Design interview guides, conduct adaptive interviews, transcribe voice answers, and generate evidence reports.
- Show creators the transcripts, exports, counts, and reports belonging to their studies.
- Maintain study allowances, recover failed operations, enforce safety limits, secure the service, and investigate misuse.
- Respond to support, privacy, access, correction, and deletion requests.
Orivius does not sell respondent answers or use them to build advertising profiles. Research answers are used to provide the study and its report to the research owner.
4. AI and service providers
Orivius relies on specialist providers to operate the service. Information is shared only as needed for the relevant function:
- OpenAI and Sites for creator sign-in and application hosting.
- Cloudflare for application infrastructure, security, and creator operational data.
- Convex for study, transcript, session, report, and operational storage.
- OpenRouter and selected model providers for study design, interview follow-ups, and report generation.
- ElevenLabs when a respondent chooses voice transcription.
- Linkup when optional public-web context is added to a report.
These providers may process information in countries other than the participant's country. Their own security and legal obligations apply to their processing.
5. Retention and deletion
Orivius does not automatically delete interview records after a fixed number of days. The research owner controls the study record and can delete an individual respondent's transcript and contact details. If a deleted interview was used in a report, that report is withdrawn and can be rebuilt from the remaining interviews. Aggregate interview counts may remain.
Operational and security records are kept while reasonably needed to run, protect, and audit the service. A creator can request account or workspace assistance through the contact page. Respondents should normally contact the research owner who sent the interview link; Orivius can help route a request when given enough information to identify the study safely.
6. Your choices and rights
- Do not begin an interview, or end an interview before completion.
- Skip optional contact questions and optional fixed questions.
- Ask the research owner for access, correction, or deletion of respondent information.
- Ask Orivius for help with access, correction, deletion, consent withdrawal, or a privacy concern, subject to identity and study verification.
Additional rights may apply under the law where you live. We will respond to valid requests in accordance with applicable law.
7. Security and responsible use
Orivius uses authenticated creator routes, opaque respondent session tokens, access checks, request limits, input validation, and service monitoring. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Do not submit passwords, payment-card details, government identifiers, health records, or other highly sensitive information unless the research owner has a lawful and necessary reason to request it.
Orivius is not designed for unsupervised use by children. Research owners must obtain any consent required before intentionally inviting a minor.
8. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the product, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be presented through the service or on this page.
